Passionate About Inspiring Others

I am passionate about inspiring others to learn. Companies, locally and overseas, have engaged me for corporate training and consultancy in various areas of Software Engineering, Data Analytics, Python Programming and Machine Learning.

I am a Steering Committee member of the Asia-Pacific Software Engineering Conference and the founding Director of the Centre for Health Informatics at NUS. The Centre is the lead provider of human capital in Health Informatics and its mission is to train healthcare and IT professionals to use Health Informatics to find new ways of delivering healthcare to achieve better patient care and patient satisfaction. The Centre also serves as a hub for Health Informatics research and information exchange. I have been involved in health informatics-related training and has taught courses in “Managing Healthcare Information Technology Projects”, “Introduction to Health Informatics”, "Healthcare Analytics", "Health Informatics Leadership" and “Healthcare Systems, Technologies and Systems”.

I am also the author of 6 books on Object-Oriented Software Engineering, Java Programming language, Python Programming and Enterprise JavaBeans.
